Job overview
Bellwood Oaks will be hiring seasonal clubhouse staff this spring. Our season covers late March through early November. Clubhouse staff cover all aspects of customer service from greeting the customers upon arrival, selling greens fees, cart rentals, snack bar items and alcohol. We do use a computer-based tee sheet/ POS system so standard computer skills are required. I guess you could say we’re also a little old-fashioned in the sense that staff members answer phone calls. Stocking and cleaning are done throughout the day, so we’re well represented and prepared to serve the next customer. We are weather dependent but typically we’ll have two shifts per day, opening until early afternoon and early afternoon until dusk. The last couple seasons we have also experimented with a swing shift covering the busiest part of the day for clubhouse staff, generally 10:00 until 4:00.
Bellwood Oaks has a 14-day pay period. History shows employees will work anywhere from 16 to 70 hrs. per pay period. The wide range of hours is based on what our employees are seeking. We are a seven day a week business, so weekends are included. We do expect everyone to help with these shifts, so all employees have time away. Pay is based on your expertise and availability. This can be discussed in more depth after an interview where we can both communicate needs/objectives. Golf privileges are extended to employees when the tee is available.
