Intek Plastics is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Senior Business Development Manager - Data Centers to lead our growth initiatives within the rapidly expanding data center industry. This role is responsible for developing and strengthening customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving market expansion through strategic sales and business development efforts. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in the data center sector, a consultative sales approach, and a passion for helping customers solve complex challenges.
Position Summary
The Senior Business Development Manager will play a critical role in expanding our presence within the data center market by building relationships with existing and prospective customers, identifying strategic growth opportunities, and collaborating cross-functionally to align customer needs with innovative product solutions. This position works closely with leadership, marketing, and product teams to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management- Build and strengthen relationships with existing customers to increase engagement and overall business growth.
- Identify, engage, and develop new customer accounts through targeted outreach and strategic partnerships.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their needs and providing value-driven solutions.
- Lead business development efforts within the data center segment.
- Identify high-potential opportunities and strategic areas for product line expansion.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions align with market demands and customer requirements.
- Partner with marketing to develop effective go-to-market strategies and customer-focused campaigns.
- Support the creation of compelling value propositions and sales tools.
- Expand market penetration and increase share of wallet within key accounts. M
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging customer needs.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership regarding market opportunities and strategic direction.
- Leverage data and analytics to support sound business decisions.
Required- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting customers or clients within the data center industry.
- Experience selling custom-engineered products using a consultative sales approach.
- Demonstrated success growing sales and developing business across multiple industries.
- Plastics Processing Experience
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- MBA or advanced business degree.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and rarely up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
- Regular and dependable attendance is essential.

Pay range: $125,000 - $150,000 base salary annually.

We select our initial pay range based on reliable compensation survey data. Other factors we consider in setting the specific pay for an individual will generally include, among other things, experience, specialized skills, work location, and internal equity to provide competitive offers.
