Job Overview
The Sales Manager position for Spiral Brewery is responsible for being a liaison between the Sales Staff and customers with the Owners to ensure the needs of our customers are satisfied and Sales Staff are equipped to do the best possible job.
This role will help to lead the expansion of external sales and maintain accounts of their own. The Spiral Brewery Sales Manager will assist in the development of a vision for the growth of the Sales Division.
Essential Functions
This job will be expected to complete the following functions. This is not an all-inclusive list. This job may be assigned other functions or tasks as business or consumer needs dictate.
- Research prospective outside accounts within the assigned geographical region.
- Manage assigned accounts, adding and updating as needed.
- Communicate with all assigned accounts, including check-in calls, sales calls, and new orders.
- Meet with prospective accounts in person for sales pitch and sales tastings.
- Schedule liquor store tastings in the assigned region.
- Speak with enthusiasm and intelligence about all Spiral beers and the Spiral brand.
- Deliver kegs and cans to accounts in the assigned distribution region using a personal car as needed.
- Plan, coordinate, and participate in tasting events and brand building events in the assigned region.
- Assist in developing a delivery schedule for the assigned region.
- Maintain open communication with the sales team, the Distribution Manager, and owners.
- Work closely with owners to develop a strategic vision for growth of sales.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BA/BS in communication or other related field or 2-5 years of experience.
- Valid Minnesota Driver’s License with acceptable record required.
