Under the direction of the Principal, the Instructional Lab Technician is responsible for providing help and assistance to students using the building computer labs. Currently, students rotate through the computer lab/media center on a 4 day rotation.  On their computer lab day, students are working in the computer lab for 55 minutes where the Instructional Lab Tech helps students complete various activities assigned by their grade level teachers.  During this 55 minute period, students are also supported with selecting new libary books (a secretary from the office helps students with the book checkout process).  Instructional Lab Technicians install software programs used in the lab; provide students and staff troubleshooting and support for hardware and software issues/problems; and set up and maintain computers and printers in classrooms.
