Instructional Assistant for Summer School Program (3-5 Positions)
Under the direction of the Summer School Principal and Summer School Teacher(s) you will be required to work independently with small groups of students in reading and math, organize learning materials, follow through on lessons and activities developed by the teacher, and assist with discipline.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to handle children's behavior problems in a constructive way
- Ability to work cooperatively with an education team
- Successful experience in working with elementary children
- Experience as a Title I Instructional Assistant or Paraprofessional
Expectations:
An understanding that there is a commitment to the whole summer school session barring unforeseen circumstances.
Dates of Employment:
June 15 - July 2, 2026 (Monday ? Thursday -- 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon)
2 additional hours prior to summer school for collaboration with classroom teacher

Salary:
$22.00 per hour
