Explore Carpenter Nature Center’s Wisconsin Campus by snowshoe while looking and listening for owls. At this time of the year many of our native owl species are hooting, tooting and whinnying to attract mates. Join CNC’s program director, Mayme Johnson, and local bird experts Kevin Smith and Dwight Smith for a guided moonlit hike through the Hein Woods. Bring your own snowshoes or rent a pair from Carpenter Nature Center. Program fee is $6 per person or $4 for “Friends of CNC.” Snowshoe rentals are an additional $5 per pair (rentals are free for “Friends of CNC” and CNC volunteers). Please RSVP by calling 651-437-4359 and indicating if you will need to rent snowshoes. **This program takes place on CNC’s Wisconsin Campus which is located at 300 E. Cove Road, Hudson, WI 54016.
