There will besightings of ghosts, goblins, & witches at the Annual Harvest Haunting at the LeDuc Historic Estate, 1629 Vermillion Street , Hastings , MN. There will be scary walks in the LeDuc woods, a candlelight walk through the LeDuc cellar, readings from Edgar Allan Poe, a presentation by paranormals, and spooky stories being read especially for children. There will also be two very special witches from the Windy City who will be on site.
S'mores will be made by children at a campfire and adults will find hot beverages to enjoy.
Kristin and Justin Schaack will be showing their new award-winning film, "The Butler Did It."
NEW this year is a pumpkin-carving contest for children. Children should bring their already carved pumpkin to enter into the competition. The prize to the winner will be a family membership in Dakota County Historical Society. That means free admission to LeDuc and Lawshe events. Wearing Halloween costumes is encouraged.
Admission for all ages is $5. For people desiring the tour of the cellar, reservations are required. Please call 651-437-7055 to schedule the time you prefer for this special tour.
