Friends of LeDuc of Historic Hastings

Friends of LeDuc of Historic Hastings will meet on Tuesday, May 13, 7 p.m. at the Estate. Speaker will be Joan Mathison, first Site Manager at the LeDuc. Through the years she has maintained a strong attachment to the Leduc project, and the family that left behind a treasure trove of personal documents, making it possible to look at lives lived in another century. Joan has put together the research for the "LeDucs in St. Paul" walking tour, and will share how living so closely to the LeDucs' roots in St. Paul prompted her to do more research about their lives in that early pioneer settlement starting in 1850. This presentation is a preview to the tour which will take place on May 31.
