Author's Sunday at the LeDuc Historic Estate

Friends of LeDuc of Historic Hastings & Dakota County Historical Society sponsor the first in a series of Author's Sundays on Feb. 23, 1 p.m. at the Estate. Author of historical novel, "Ox Cart Angel", will explain his writing style, what motivates him to write, read passages from his book, sign & sell books. Mr. Joel Arnold's book has recently won a Midwest Book Award. He is the Literary Director of the Savage Arts Council. His book takes place in 1862 and details the hardships of a father and daughter as they attempt to make their way from the Dakota Territory to St. Paul. The public is invited to attend this event and a $2 donation would be appreciated. Refreshments will be served.
